Tennessee Walking Horses

We bought our first grade horses in 1982, and later "moved up" to registered gaited horses and AQHA's. We've done a little of everything with our horses: showing in flat shod, western pleasure & halter, trail riding, driving, and barrel racing. Now we concentrate on breeding and trail riding.

Deli has a very good disposition. She's laid back, easy to handle, and you can catch her anywhere. Her walk/rack is smooth enough to put you to sleep in the saddle. She's raised several black and white foals and one sorrel and white foal. The new owners of one of Deli's babies called back the following year to see if we had another like the one he bought, since it was turning out to be an exceptional horse. Queen has been shown in the Flat Shod Divisions and won several first and second place ribbons. She usually passes on her smooth gait to her offspring. She is a good natured riding mare and will go well even for an inexperienced rider. She has extremely nice babies that seem to inherit her wonderful disposition. See her foals by clicking here .

As a 2 year old, Lace was shown successfully at halter. She has also been show in Halter and Western Pleasure, winning numerous first and second place ribbons out of rather large classes. Flash was imprinted at birth and his disposition shows it. He is very quiet, loads well, stands quietly when tied, and doesn't mind a bath. In the spring of 2003 he completed 40 days in training and since then we have taken him to a few trail rides, where he did a wonderful job. Very few things bothered him, he was very willing to ride alone, went into water up to his belly without hesitation, and is very laid back. At this rate, he is a keeper and if handled right, will mature into a grand horse for the trails.
